corvus_animus decided tromping about looking for bones to collect was an excellent work break yesterday. What we did not take into consideration is that the creek we cross, generally a pleasant, placid thing, would be swollen with snow melt and rain. Silly us. What followed was laughter, cursing, splashing as
corvus_animus tossed a helpful stepping stone into the water and the displaced water onto me, and other sorts of generally amused and pleased carrying on.
And I only slipped and fell in (a little) once.
It was a productive and enjoyable excursion, dunking and all. Conversation and company were both impeccable, and I have some rather nice doe skulls to clean up.
Now, back to the working world.
