I am exhausted. Not in a bad way, mind. Just...tired. I sort of want to call "PAUSE!" and take a day to do nothing more than cuddle with cats and that fellow I live with and listen to ferrets and Ferdinand be ridiculous.

The weather was glorious today though- Mildmay thoroughly enjoyed my celebratory opening of the windows and airing out of the apartment.

We got back from the signing at Flights of Fantasy in Albany indecently late, at which point we had to entertain and medicate the ferrets and eventually crawl to bed. Where time itself betrayed me and my parents called at a time they assured me was fair game. I assured them daylight savings time did not exist until I had a cuppa. After sorting all of that out, djkc and I had a lovely walk to the diner for breakfast, and then a lovely bike ride in the park.

Alas, somewhere between all the driving and the biking I have stressed my hands into a sort of mini pain flare. Hoping to coax it back into nonexistence with medication before other body parts feel left out and I get a full-on fibro party.

Friday I leave with jpsorrow for LunaCon, where I am sure we will at least try to behave ourselves. Somewhat. I am reminded I really need to get paperwork sorted out so I can actually leave the country and attend World Fantasy in Toronto this fall. I must stop putting that off...

I am newly director at two libraries, buying a house, and promoting the release of my first published work. What a busy little month.

as lovely as the weather was on Sunday, there was something about the warm and the loss of the hour that just killed the two of us. We slept. A lot. I felt like a cat, lazing in the sun. *yawn*

We...didn't crawl out of bed until 11am-ish. Which is damn late for D. I would have stayed and lounged longer, but there was talk of being hungry and Broadway seemed like a good idea.

we got up around 945, I think - let the ferrets out, and then crawled back in for a bit. Then got back up, I did the gym/WW thing, Charlie did some house stuff, and we took a two hour or so nap later....
