Well, I am rather pleased by how they have come out.
Turns out rune making is very relaxing for me. The wood burning, the painting over the burn to give it more life, drawing my fingers along the grain of the wood as I seal them with beeswax. There is just something quietly beautiful about it. And I really don't need as many sets of runes as I am probably going to make. So if anyone is interested, feel free to wander over to Etsy. So far I have worked with cedar, oak, poplar, and antler. If you have wood or another material you would like made into runes, and you can get it to me, I will make them.
