Well, muffins_of_god has come and gone. We decided we shall not wait another seven years for the next visit.

We signed and packed books while watching Ultimate Spiderman. We visited my sister and mother, hand delivered some copies to local folks, and went on a short wine tour. I think that was a visit well spent.

Now...I get to know the folks at the post office rather well.

She was quite taken with mead. Apparently it is not a Thing down in NC, something she is now lamenting. She brews beer, I wonder how long it will be before she tries her hand at a batch of mead.

well, it does exist in NC (I mean, AJB lived in NC before coming here and she drank mead there through SCA and ren faire activities). But it might be a less common thing. Maybe she just needs to hang around different geek crowds there?

Then again, I am always amazed at the number of people I know around here that I have never had it or heard of it *sigh*
