Date: 2012-09-05 07:17 pm (UTC)Sadly, I'm sure we'll be able to find plenty of black kitties needing homes, seeing as people tend to not like them. When we had our rescue kitty, the Humane Society said that, between her being obviously abused and the fact that she was a black cat, she'd be deemed unadoptable and put down.
Stupid superstitions.
(Also, for some reason, I'm fond of Vesper as a name. It's pretty and sounds unisex to me. It means evening in Latin and is tied to this mythological dude and is tied to Venus.)

Date: 2012-09-05 07:47 pm (UTC)We would've kept her ourselves if our roommate Kat wasn't really badly allergic to cats and dogs. Kat's was *miserable* the few nights we had to keep Cosette in because it was too cold out, even if Kat never came out of her room and dosed herself up on Benedryl. :/
I'm aiming to leave for Missouri after the November election. I haven't mentioned it on Failbook because it's just family on there, generally, and we're not close to them. I don't talk about my personal life on there at all.
