State of the fireun

fireunSo, the bank thing is mostly sorted out. Looks like there were two debit cards active and linked to my account. Only one of them was in my hands.
Last week was filled with 11 hour work days. But good ones. I ran a program teaching young teens about Goodreads and ultimately establishing a Goodreads group for their book club for them. They were excited and it was a blast. I also (finally) got to use our telecom equipment to allow my computing center to join in on a talk being given down by NYC by a Police Officer/Ghost Hunter. It was an interesting talk, and very well received. And the equipment served with distinction.
Right now djkc and I have a guest for the week. We both participate in Couchsurfing- through hosting more than anything else- and a young woman attending a week long class at a local college flew in this evening. From Cuba, currently living in Miami. She seems to be an absolutely amazing person- the cats took to her instantly :) I look forward to chatting with her.
When I am not in Deposit. This week is the Lumberjack Festival in Deposit, where the library I manage is. I will be there pretty much all week, all day. Should be fun, just a long week ahead.
