Cow Cats, a set on Flickr.
Last night Cow Cat was finally surrendered to me. She was 'owned' by a neighbor at the old apartment. David and I spent most of our time there feeding her and her mother. She had a litter of kittens and the owners finally admitted they could not maintain the cat. Cow Cat will be going to the vet for the first time in her life- shots, worming, checking for FIV/FIP, etc. The kittens, when they are old enough, will get kitten shots and adopted out.
In the mean time, I had forgotten how damn bouncy five week old kittens were. Seeing as we had named the mother Cow Cat, we have named the kittens Angus, Wellington, and Guernsey.
