Wow, so a lot happened today.

First awesome thing- I was offered the library director position I had interviewed for a few weeks ago. So starting next week I will be working at two libraries. I am rather excited!

Second- I got my authors copy for Modern Fae in the mail.

Third- Piles of paperwork later, the inspection for the house is tomorrow. Things are moving...smoothly and swiftly. It is fascinating. I am cautiously excited. I will be running from my reference desk shift tomorrow to catch the second half of the inspection. I cannot be there for the first chunk as it is a bit late to get someone to cover the desk for me, but I can be there for a portion of it at least!

Fourth- signing/release party scheduled at my library! Super excited :D

Had a lovely dinner with

djkc, but I fear with everything going on my anxiety levels are whooping all over the place so I am not consistently the best company. Everything will settle down soon.

Heard back from my friend who had brain surgery- they have found cancer in both her lungs *sigh*. Now starts the chemo.
