Boiled Molasses Cookies

fireuntodays experiment...success.
1 cup molasses
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
5 cups flour
Pour molasses into saucepan. bring to a boil. add baking soda. let foam. pour into a large bowl. add butter, sugar, eggs, spices, and vanilla. mix well. add flour one cup at a time. drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
seriously, easiest cookies ever.
and my house now smells DELICIOUS.
