I have a bit of a crush on this man. It is partly a brain crush that comes from listening to him talk, sing, and reading his blog. Partly a purely physical reaction to that smile.




But when it comes down to it, it is the fact that he writes songs that fill me with such word-envy, and then proceeds to sing them with so much damn emotion. And it does not hurt that he is all around a rather damn swell fellow.



If you ever get a chance, go see Frank Turner perform live. Seriously. Amazing stuff. English punk rock country songs. Either way, go forth and at least listen to some amazing music. He has a few albums out, and they are magnificent.

djkc and I trekked up to the Albany, NY area for a show last night (our third time seeing Frank) and ended up in a blissful stage-side location with rather wonderful ease. Spectacular show.
