...so far we have resisted all urges to start calling Phaedrus "Felix", though sometimes the little family dynamic between the cats is decidedly similar to the that of the characters in the books...
Really though, Mildmay has grown into his namesake.

...go read Melusine by Sarah Monette if you have no idea what I am talking about. I can't recommend that book, and series, highly enough. Fascinating characters, a beautiful and terrifying POV involving some rather disturbing insanity, creepy ambiance at all the right times, and dialog that will have you embarrassing yourself in public as you erupt into fits of startled guffaws. It is perfect.
