Afterward, the Doctor and Merlin become bff and travel for a little while.

But not long because THE TEMPTATION TO SEE ARTHUR AGAIN USING THE TARDIS IS TOO GREAT and Merlin knows it is NOT YET TIME ETC ETC and the Doctor just smirks all knowing-ly and is like BUT THE TIME WILL COME SOON YOUNG PADAWAN HOHOHO.
