'Tis a sleepy day, but adventure awaits

Mutti is coming to visit on Friday. I found her a cat to adopt to replace Misty-cat. It will be grand. We have planned raspberry picking and cat-retrieving.

And I will get to hand her a check. You guys are brilliant. afeather. jecook. mcguire1505. ckocher. xjenavivex. GUYS. I get to hand my mother a check for a big chunk of the memorial!!! You have made me cry in the most wonderful way. I am sure she will want to send thank you cards, she is like that, so please do not be surprised if I ask for addresses (and humor her).

I will have a snippet for the write-a-thon, and a proper post on that subject, when I am less in the middle of a 12 hour work day. At least the library has AC. I weep at the thought of heading home where things are overly warm and muggy.

I suggest getting one window unit. So you at least have ONE room that you can cool off in. The one for my bedroom was under $150. Completely worth it.

Did a fundraiser to help get a memorial for Teresa and folks were awesome and a huge dent was made :-)
